taboo

Linus once said there are 3 things one should never discuss with other people: "religion, politics, and the Great Pumpkin". I'd strongly consider adding Will Ferrell as taboo topic number 4. There seems to be no middle ground on this guy. It's really quite a strange phenomenon. For the most part I find him particularly unfunny. I believe I'm in the minority opinion here, though I am pretty certain the Monkey King is on my side.

i never saw old school, but i'd agree with anything family guy (there can be no suckage in family guy) and say in anything else farrell sucks in his elf shoes.

I, too, concur: WF doesn't reach me. Quite an honorm if, of sorts, to be lumped with religion, politics, and the Great Pumpkin, though.

If I somehow wound up honoring Will Ferrell, I sure didn't mean it! I yearn for the second golden age of SNL with Phil Hartman, Dana Carvey, and Kevin Nealon. Not the poop-brown age that currently colors it.

I dunno, some of Will Ferrell's stuff makes me laugh. The first time I saw the Roxbury Boys, it made me quit watching SNL for three years. But now I think it's funny. And the cowbell sketch is a classic. But I can see how he would be annoying. I guess Saturday Night Live has gotten so lame that even Will Ferrel looks like comedy genius. But Chris Farley, Phil Hartman, and Dana Carvey all make WF look lame.
