People sometimes refer to ex's as "old flames". Well, TV show people do anyway. A post by H&B2 got me wondering, "cavemen didn't know about fire let alone flames so how did they refer to their ex's"? My guess is "dinner" as they probably ate their former partners. Not sure if the cannibalism caused the breakup or vice versa. Ideas?
Here's jeremapalooza, a new blog for you to peruse. As well as a shout out to Rust Belt Ramblings. Good stuff.

That would be a great, final method to deal with the ex's. No accidental meetings, no residual bad feelings!
They could've referred to their ex's as "good-rock-i-used-to-use-to-kill-live-meat-with" (GRIUTUTKLMW) or something... they did discover tools before fire, right? And griututklmw sounds like something they would say....
I don't think it would be a good idea at all. At best, I might get indigestion; at worst, my ex would be with me indefinitely, though in a different form.
HA! That is hilarious.
I would definitely get food poisoning
Actually, the term "old flames" refers to the heat of passion. It's a little-known fact that, prior to 456 BCE, those who fell in love were in danger of bursting into flames. It had to do with the build-up of lustinicine in the glands caused by romantic emotions. That's why the average lifespan back then was only nine years old. Once they hit puberty, 5 out of ten exploded the moment they saw a member of the opposite sex. Then they discovered flouride counteracts the effects. That's why they put flouride in drinking water.
I would love to barbeque some people. Put some mustard and ketchup on them. Mmmmm.Even deep fried sounds nice.
just so you never start thinking your genious for drilling to the very center of trivia will only be recognized posthumously, youragoddamgenious. for real.
old flames = ashes
