Feeling better, many thanks to all you well-wishers! Now to catch up with both posting and reading. 2006, a new year. Imagine the possibilities! Flying cars, time travel, human vs. cyborg sporting events. I'll have to delve into this some more later. For now, a new profile pic. Been told by too many non-Asians & especially Asians (most recently by InfiniteDragon) that I don't look Chinese. People often guess Korean though also Japanese, White-halfsie, Puerto Rican(??), etc. Koreans really love assuming I'm Korean.
The 2nd order of business is taking care o' this meme tagged to me by the lover-ly frog princess. Here goes:
Four jobs I've had in my past:
Four things I want to do before 2006 is over:
Four things I say a lot:
Four things I don't trust:
Four things I do trust:
Four people from history I'd like to meet:
Four best movies of 2005:
well, I saw these in 2005 anyway. Didn't watch many movies last year
Four best books I read in 2005: (uh oh)
Four people tagged: (who probably will ignore this)
This was long and probably useless to any of you who stuck it out, but I salute you! With a real "Bronx cheer".

So glad to hear that you're getting better! Batman Begins IS one of the best movies of 2005. All of my friends and I love it.
So...are you Korean? :p
so you don't trust anyone then!
I don't even bother trying to guess whether another Asian person is Chinese, Korean or whatever. I wait until I hear them speak first. It comes from too many people thinking I'm Japanese, and me doing the same thing to other non-Japanese!
I bought Crime & Punishment, does that count? I do plan on reading it this year. I read 20 pages or so and was surprised that it didn't seem as hard to absorb as I thought it would be, but then something by Nick Hornby or something came out and I set it aside...
Ha! I'm about four pages (and 1.5 years) into Crime and Punishment.
I think that is my first salute! Thank you sir...may I have another?
Glad you are healthy again. Now get to work..
I've always thought it would be fascinating to be a mover. I have zero arm strength and I am pretty klutzy, so I quickly crossed that off the list of things to try. I can't even imagine the things that you see.
I need to watch that Batman Begins I love Christian Bale.. but Katie Holmes is an alien so I was kind of not interested but if you like it... I am sure its great!
martini- katie holmes was definitely the weak link but she wasn't awful or anything.
Nice list of jobs - very random. My best former job had to be delivering Chinese food and sushi for this restaurant called, wait for it...Asian Flavor.
But it really was just about my favorite job. Either that one or the knife selling. That was pretty cool too.
