I wish to own a retro-kitsch memorabilia company, the kind that supplies fake old appurtenances to Applebee's and T.G.I. Fridays. What a goldmine! Surely manufacturing counterfeit old stuff is profoundly cheaper than obtaining genuine old stuff. And with a company name and slogan like: 'Unmemorabilia: Pretending to be from 1947 since 2009', how can I lose? I can't, that's how!

Sounds like a great idea. Old-fashioned-looking stuff for a fraction (I'd hope) of the cost of the real thing. You'd have to be careful not to use too much plastic in the manufacturing though -it'd be too obviously fake.
I do wonder sometimes about the stuff they stick on those walls. I mean, do they try to have any kind of theme at all?
